Romania has one of the largest growing tourist industries in the world. With beautiful natural landmarks and Medieval castles, the country will leave any visitor astound. Formerly part of Transylvania, Romania also has a darker and more adventurous side where tourists may seek out monuments and learn about Vlad the Impaler or simply Dracula. In addition to the touristy sites, Romania offers a mixed cuisine ranging from Eastern European, Mediterranean, Turkish, Austrian, and Oriental. Alongside, Romanians are known for their traditional wine that is reasonably cheap.
