Poland has become a stable and economically up and coming nation post-communism. Part of the economic surge has been from the tourism industry in Poland. Visitors frequently pass through the nation to see the old castles, WWII sites, and the capital city Warsaw. The rural areas of Poland are filled with beautiful landscapes including mountains, green pastures, and even sand dunes. As for the cuisine, Poland has traditional East European food and is known for pierogies and sausage. In addition, the Polish make excellent beer and vodkas.
