Charleston, South Carolina is charming coastal city. There are many historic attractions including Civil War landmarks, the French Quarter, the Citadel, and museums. Beside the city’s history, there are also beaches outside of downtown where the water is warm and the surf is gentle allowing for a pleasant swim. The cuisine in Charleston is heavily based on seafood where tourists have many options to choose from when dining out. In addition, visitors won’t have any trouble finding bars around the city that offer up some southern-style mixed drinks.
